Aaron & Partners has secured top-tier recognition in two practice areas and seven new recommendations for its lawyers in the 2027 edition of The Legal 500.
Widely regarded as one of the UK legal sector’s leading independent guides, The Legal 500 ranks firms and lawyers based on detailed research and client feedback. This year, Aaron & Partners secured 54 Recommended Individual listings covering 44 solicitors, with some lawyers recognised in more than one practice area.
The firm also achieved 16 practice-area rankings and 15 Leading Partner and Next Generation Partner rankings.
Its Corporate & Commercial and Contentious Trusts & Probate teams retained Tier 1 status in the North West. Meanwhile, the Commercial Property team in the West Midlands tripled its number of recommended lawyers, from two to six.
Further new recommendations went to lawyers in Personal Tax, Trusts & Probate and Insolvency & Corporate Recovery in the North West, contributing to seven new listings across those three categories.
Nick Clarke, CEO of Aaron & Partners, said: “I’m delighted to see new recommendations across multiple teams in this year’s Legal 500 rankings. We work hard to deliver our client’s expectations and provide excellent service and it’s always satisfying to see that recognised in the Legal Directories. It’s testament to the exceptional work our people do and they thoroughly deserve these accolades. I’d also like to extend our thanks to everyone who took the time to give feedback.”
The firm received eight Leading Partner rankings across seven lawyers, matching last year’s total. All eight featured in the North West rankings. Head of Corporate and Commercial Stuart Scott-Goldstone and Corporate & Commercial Partner Jamie Hawley were recognised in their category, while Dispute Resolution Partners Layla Barke-Jones and John Devoy featured in Commercial Litigation. Head of Real Estate Emma McGlinchey was listed in Commercial Property and Senior Partner Helen Watson in Employment.
Planning, Environmental, Energy and Regulatory (PEER) Law Partner David Harries again received two Leading Partner rankings, covering Commercial Litigation and Planning & Environment. There were also seven Next Generation Partner rankings across six lawyers, the same number as in the previous edition.
Real Estate Partner Joseph Fletcher-Hunt was recognised in both Agriculture & Estates and Commercial Property in the North West. Fellow Real Estate Partner Iwan Williams also featured in Commercial Property.
Partner Vlad Macdonald-Munteanu was listed in Contentious Trusts & Probate, Partner and Head of Family Law Simon Magner Mawdsley in Family, and Restructuring & Insolvency Partner Katy Seago in Insolvency & Corporate Recovery, all in the North West. Similarly, Partner Ben Mason was recognised in Employment in the West Midlands.
