A monthly networking event for the construction industry is going from strength to strength – with the next event promising to be another big success.

This month’s Shropshire Constructing Excellence social will again be held at The Loopy Shrew in Shrewsbury on October 15 from 5-7pm.

The event, which is hosted by Shropshire Constructing Excellence (SCE), has been sponsored by leading accountants, tax and business advisors WR Partners, allowing every guest to enjoy a free drink and nibbles.

SCE vice-chair Tim Lloyd said feedback from the September event – which was sponsored by MKM Shrewsbury – had been excellent.

“We took a break over the summer so it was really pleasing to see so many people turn up for our return last month. It was an excellent evening which brought together people from across the industry in a lovely, relaxed atmosphere.

“We’re extremely grateful to WR Partners for their support, which really does help make this event possible. Our socials are a great way to meet new people, reconnect with old colleagues and clients and enjoy an evening of great conversation.

“I’d particularly encourage anyone who hasn’t been to one of our socials before to give it a try. They are very friendly and welcoming and we’re certain you will find them extremely useful.”

Tim, the owner of quantity surveyors CQS Solutions, urged anyone wishing to attend to register to help organisers cater for the right number of people.
