Shrewsbury has a vast array of great Asian restaurants many of which you have probably never sampled. Taste of Asia is a brand new event which brings these together on Sunday 18 October from 12pm till 6pm at Smithy’s Bar at Shrewsbury Town Football Club.

Hosted by the Mayor of Shrewsbury, Councillor Bernie Bentick, Taste of Asia will see a selection of authentic dishes from cuisines across Asia the like of which has never before been seen in a wonderful town. Fancy Thai Tom Yam, a Vietnamese Summer Roll, or a Nepalese curry?

For just £20 per person, which includes £10 worth of food and drinks tokens, you can try dishes from Thai, Vietnamese, Nepalese, Indian, Sri Lankan and Turkish cuisines.

Please note that this event serves authentic Asian cuisine, with limited vegetarian and specialist dietary options. Allergy and dietary information will be provided for all dishes, and guests are advised to consider this before purchasing tickets.
