World leading aviation specialist Aviramp has launched its largest single recruitment drive with the creation of 50 new jobs – ahead of moving to new premises.

Founded in 2011 by Graham Corfield, the global leading firm in manufacturing step-free aircraft boarding ramps has continued its rapid growth.

The company enjoyed a hugely successful 2025 as it clinched major international deals alongside a number of awards.

Growth has continued in 2026 – and that has led to the company preparing to move from its headquarters in Stafford Park to larger premises.

With that, 50 new jobs are being created in international installation and assembly roles.

The roles include working in Aviramp's UK factory to complete, assemble and prepare ramps for shipping. Some will also involve international travel to install ramps at airports around the world.

Aviramp commercial director Wayne Lawrence explained the expansion and the creation of 50 new roles marked another exciting step forward for the Telford-based firm.

He said: “The growth of the company has continued at pace, which was outlined by the figures highlighting the success of 2025.

“That has only continued into this year and that has led to the expansion and move to a new and larger premises, which is only going to allow the business to grow further.

“To reach the next stage we need to recruit, which is why we’re creating new jobs to go alongside our move to a new headquarters.

“As a business, we’ve always prided ourselves on creating opportunities for the local community, and that is what we’re doing through this recruitment drive.”

The latest expansion comes after Aviramp saw the number of ramps in operation worldwide rise to more than 950 by the end of 2025, with new global sales in America, Asia, Europe and Australasia.
