Specialist insurance broker Cox Mahon has recruited 24-year-old Danielle Crowe as a Business Analyst with the Shrewsbury based firm through the Government’s Kickstart scheme for 16-24 year olds.

Danielle, from near Shrewsbury, is one of 1,000 placements being created by Shropshire’s Chamber of Commerce as the first gateway provider in the county to post live vacancies as part of the £2 billion scheme to help young people at risk of long-term unemployment.

Holding a degree in geology from the University of Manchester, Danielle’s biggest personal achievement to date was scaling Mount Kenya in Summer 2016, reaching the third highest peak at 4,995m and descended the mountain in just five days. Danielle has a keen eye for detail and enjoys analysing data and will be spending six months researching new business opportunities alongside Director Richard Packman.

Richard Packman comments: “It’s great to support this initiative and have Danielle on board.  We hope she will be climbing mountains and gaining valuable work experience here at Cox Mahon and I look forward to benefiting from her skills and insight. ”
