Set in the heart of the beautiful Shropshire countryside, Adcote School is an award-winning day and boarding school for girls aged 7–18. In 2025, Adcote has once again proven itself as a dynamic and forward-thinking school. We were proud finalists in the Independent Schools of the Year Awards for Outstanding Fundraising, with nearly £5,000 raised each year for a wide range of charities, much of it driven by the initiative and compassion of our students.

The arts remain a cornerstone of school life. Our students have excelled in public speaking, music, dance, and drama, with national recognition from the ISA Musical Theatre, ISA Dance, and the National School Theatre Awards. Productions of The Greatest Show, Shrek the Musical, and Alice in Wonderland showcased outstanding talent both on and off stage.

Sport at Adcote continues to thrive, with outstanding achievements across a wide range of disciplines. In 2025 alone, our students were crowned North Shropshire U13 Hockey Champions, double Athletics Champions (Junior and Senior), and ISA National and MISGA Gymnastics Champions.

Adcote’s spirit is defined by excellence, compassion, humour, and heart—and it is recognised nationally. In 2025, we were nominated in the Education Choices Awards for SEN provision and Bursary support, and ranked by The Telegraph as the top value-for-money school in the UK for combining A-level outcomes with affordability.
