Headway Shropshire

Headway Shropshire was formed in 1989 as a local support group for people with an acquired brain injury (ABI). Originally located in the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, through charitable funding and fundraising we moved to purpose-built accommodation in December 2002. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do – and we want both our clients and colleagues to work together so that each client can become their ‘best self’. We focus on Outcome Based Support Packages and a challenging What Next attitude. We are supported by experienced tutors and professional therapists (as well as colleagues and volunteers) who provide a wide range of activities to meet the needs of each person who wants our support.
