Stay Telford

Stay has been operating for more than 30 years and we help over 1,000 vulnerable and homeless people in the Borough of Telford & Wrekin each year.

We work with individuals who are rough sleeping, facing homelessness, have housing and/or financial difficulties, are vulnerable, suffering a life crisis, and/or living with a neurodiverse condition, mental health issues or an addiction. We work in partnership with other organisations to enable individuals to have access to the right support.

We provide practical advice and person-centred support and have 78 bed spaces across Telford for people who are homeless and need support. We work with our tenants to enable them to gain the life skills, personal development, confidence, and independence they need to sustain a tenancy with us. Our ultimate goal is for our tenants to be able to move on and take on a private long-term tenancy elsewhere and thrive beyond our support.

Stay’s vision is to end homelessness and empower people to rebuild their lives. Our mission is to Prevent the causes of homelessness; Respond to the immediate needs of those who face homelessness; Champion the needs of homeless individuals at every opportunity.

With the right support, at the right time, we know people can realise their aspirations to live independent and fulfilling lives.
