Wellington Orbit is an independent, not-for-profit community arts centre at the heart of Wellington, just a two-minute walk from Wellington Railway Station and five minutes from the bus station. 

Since opening in 2013 and expanding into our current premises in 2019, we've grown from a 63-seat independent cinema and community café into a vibrant arts and community hub. Thanks to recent investment, we now also offer a fully accessible dance studio, exhibition and event space, meeting rooms and creative spaces that can be used by businesses and local organisations throughout the year.

Our aim is to provide a welcoming space where culture, creativity, business and the local community come together.

Cinema Seat Sponsorship

Sponsor one of our cinema seats for £180 + VAT for five years. Your business will be recognised with a personalised plaque on the seat.

Room Sponsorship

Name one of our new rooms or spaces. Packages can be tailored to suit your business and agreed on an individual basis.

On-Screen Advertising

Promote your business to cinema audiences with advertising shown before film screenings.

Film & Event Sponsorship

Support an individual film, themed season, live event, exhibition or community programme while gaining valuable local exposure.

Community Sponsorship

Help local organisations, charities and community groups access our facilities by sponsoring their venue hire. We'll work with you to match your business with organisations that reflect your values.

Meeting Rooms

Our meeting rooms are ideal for client meetings, interviews, training sessions and workshops. With excellent rail links, we're an easy meeting point for people travelling from across the region.

Event Space

Hire our café and exhibition area for networking events, celebrations, presentations or private functions. Catering options are available and packages can be tailored to your requirements with prices by negotiation. 

Private Cinema Hire

Create a memorable client or staff event by combining a meeting or event with a private cinema screening. We can provide bespoke packages including refreshments and catering, subject to film licensing arrangements and prices by negotiation.

WOW Card

We operate a WOW card.  For an annual subscription, your employees will receive:

• 10% discount on cinema tickets booked online or in person
• 10% discount on most food purchases
• Exclusive offers and promotions throughout the year

 If an employer wishes to pay for a WOW card for an employee and provided the conditions at s323A Income Tax (Earnings and Pensions) Act 2003 are met, there are no income tax or national insurance consequences and no reporting obligations to HMRC as it is a trivial benefit.
