Become a Dementia Friend: Join us for a free Dementia Friends Session.
During this friendly and interactive session, you’ll learn more about dementia, how it affects a person and what you can do to help people affected by dementia in your community.
Big or small, every action counts!
Dementia Friends is an awareness-raising initiative that aims to increase people’s understanding of dementia and inspire them to make small changes that can make a real difference to people affected by dementia.
The session is interactive and delivered by a trained Alzheimer’s Society volunteer or staff member. Participants will learn the five key things we want everyone to know about dementia and explore simple ways they can support people living with the condition.
By the end of the session, participants will become Dementia Friends and consider how they can make a difference in their everyday lives.
