Please note: Chamber membership is not required to be eligible, and no Chamber member benefits will be used for this training. This funding is administrated by Shropshire Council, through the United Kingdom Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). This course will teach why protecting your online reputation is so important and how to respond to negative online reviews and negative comments from Google to App ratings and industry specific platforms.

It will cover crisis communications from crib sheets for staff who may be the first port of call in a crisis to how to respond effectively to the media in a crisis as that story could end up online and could go viral.

It will also include how you can find and monitor what people are saying about you online and how you can control employee behavior online to ensure they also protect your brand and personal reputation.

Shropshire Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Team Upskilling Project’ has received £373,000 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Shropshire Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Shropshire Skills Hub’ has received £384,000 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
