A 1 day course to help non-clinical staff understand commonly used terminology.
This course is for those who come into contact with medical terminology on a regular basis but who have not come from a medical background. The course is ideal for staff who are new to a medical environment, those who are unfamiliar with medical terms and also for established staff who have not received any training in understanding medical terminology.
Sessions will cover a variety of topics including basics of medical terminology, common abbreviations, basic human anatomy & physiology and common medication and prescriptions.
Venue: SBC Training in Shrewsbury
This course can be fully funded for eligible applicants through Shropshire Chamber of Commerce’s UKSPF Shropshire Skills Hub project, funded by UK Government through Shropshire Council.
Funding is available for applicants who reside in the Shropshire Council local authority area and are in employment (anywhere).
