Shrewsbury-based branded clothing specialist DecoStitch is among the businesses to have signed up to Shropshire Chamber’s new all-inclusive membership model.

The company, which delivers embroidery and digital printing across a range of sectors including business, school, sport and promotional events, is based at Battlefield Enterprise Park.

The Chamber’s new all-inclusive membership model is part of a revamp of packages which mean that instead of a ‘one size fits all’ approach, members now have the power to choose the solutions and services that make the most sense for their particular businesses.

Deco stitch 1DecoStitch business development manager Mike Lewis said: “The company has been trading for nearly 10 years, and without a shadow of a doubt, joining the Chamber has been a benefit to us.

“Our relationship began about two years ago, and the main service we have really been able to benefit from has been the weekly networking breakfast meetings.

“We’ve also tried to attend quite a few of the training sessions across the HR side of business management. Because we are quite a small team, we don’t really have the ability to outsource that sort of service.

“As far as we are concerned at DecoStitch, it’s really important to be able to have the sort of service that the Chamber provides – not only from the perspective of introducing us to local businesses who are keen to support one another, but to also be able to have a line of sight of training courses and any legislative changes that are coming through.”

He added: “I would definitely recommend joining the Chamber, principally because it invites you to join other businesses and have a face-to-face relationship with like-minded people that are keen to grow their own business, but support local.”
