A Shropshire Chamber of Commerce apprentice is celebrating after achieving a distinction in her business administration training course.

Chloe Symms has completed her Level 3 business admin apprenticeship with support from her employer and SBC Training in Shrewsbury.

She said: “I believe a key factor in my success has been the outstanding support I’ve received from both the team at the Chamber and the team at SBC.

“Their encouragement, guidance and willingness to share their knowledge has made a huge difference to my learning experience.

“I’ve always felt valued and supported, and their feedback has helped me to grow in confidence and develop my abilities.

“I’ve really enjoyed learning on the job, taking on new responsibilities and seeing my skills grow over time. The collaborative and positive environment created by both teams has made my whole apprenticeship experience truly enjoyable.”

And now her first apprenticeship is completed, Chloe is moving on to another – this time a finance assistant apprenticeship, continuing to work with Shropshire Chamber at its Telford headquarters.

“I’m looking forward to building on what I’ve learned so far, gaining new skills in finance, and continuing my professional development. I’d like to thank everyone who has supported my training up to now, and hope to make similar progress in my new role.”

Shropshire Chamber chief executive Ruth Ross said Chloe’s success followed marketing assistant Ella Preece also gaining a distinction in her digital marketing apprenticeship with SBC Training, and continuing to progress her career with the Chamber.

“We’ve also recently welcomed Grace Bywater as our new events and training apprentice, which further reflects our commitment to developing individuals and helping them grow as part of the Chamber team.

“It’s really encouraging to see how these opportunities are helping young professionals thrive, and we’re proud to be part of their journey.

“At the Chamber, we are dedicated to helping our colleagues build their skills set, and to creating opportunities for everyone to grow and enjoy successful careers.”
