An award‑winning businessman whose rapid career rise has taken him from apprentice to director will be guest speaker at Shropshire Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals networking event next week.

Jordon Tipper, who is now operations director at Start Tech in Shrewsbury where he first joined as an apprentice technician, will share his inspiring career journey on September 3 at Riverbank Bar & Kitchen in the town’s Victoria Quay.

Running from 5.30pm to 7pm, the event is aimed at people aged 18 to 30 who are building the foundations of their careers. Attendance is free for Shropshire Chamber members.

Jordon became operations director at Start Tech at the age of just 26, and was crowned Young Leader of 2025 at the West Midlands Leadership Awards.

The Chamber’s Young Professionals initiative continues to grow, offering a relaxed, pressure‑free environment where genuine connections form naturally and ideas are sparked.
