Shropshire Chamber of Commerce is looking to recruit a new Policy Officer to play a pivotal role in developing and delivering its policy and lobbying work.
Ruth Ross, the Chamber’s director of business, said: “We’re looking for someone with an exceptional understanding of current affairs, business issues and economic matters, who is politically aware, with well-developed inter-personal skills.
“The Policy Officer is the person who helps to bring together the different voices and perspectives of our members and their sectors, championing the region and its work across a wide-ranging programme of activity.
“They will need to manage a varied workload across a number of areas, and be comfortable and confident in the dynamics and complexities of different policy agendas.”
A salary of up to £22,000 is available for the post. The deadline for applications is December 15th, with a proposed start date of January 5.
