The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are awarded to businesses for outstanding achievement in International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity (Social Mobility).

As long as your business employees more than 2 people, you could win a Queen’s Award for Enterprise- One of the UK’s most prestigious business honours.

Former winners include Shropshire based businesses Thermserve, Protolabs and i2r Packaging.

Entries are judged entirely on merit, therefore there is a variety of enterprises entering and winning each year, with firms varying in size.

On Friday 12th June, the Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire, Mrs. Anna Turner, Mandy Thorn MBE DL, Chair of Marches LEP, Gill Hamer, CEO of Marches LEP and Richard Sheehan CEO of Shropshire Chamber of Commerce will virtually launch the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Shropshire.
