Are you eager to elevate your marketing?

Whether you’re keen to optimise your performance, (re)define your position within your industry, or continue to present cutting-edge opportunities to attract and retain the very best customers, it’s vital that you plan and prepare.

As we enter the new year, brands and businesses worldwide will be reviewing, refreshing, and reevaluating marketing methods to ensure they kick-start 2025 – with a bang! And it’s vital that you do too.

Here, we talk to Amelia Redge, Agency Director at Reech, about everything you need to know to establish an exciting, robust, and successful marketing strategy for the new year:

What are the key marketing trends that businesses should be embracing in 2025?

“Marketing trends are rapidly evolving, and 2025 is set to be another huge year with the introduction and development of innovative ideas. While exciting, we know that it can also be challenging (and daunting) to keep up!

“No doubt, AI is here to stay. While some of its abilities spark controversy, it is a great tool to aid busy teams with market research, content creation, and workflow automation.

“Video remains crucial across all channels in capturing attention. And social media is progressively being used as a search engine – so adequate focus should be given to such platforms.

“Also, customers are increasingly valuing authenticity. With the rise of user-generated content and personalisation, you can effectively build trust and rapport to further escalate audience engagement.

How can businesses engage with these changing tactics?

“Take time to review your existing processes: understand what’s working, where your gaps are, and what needs to be enhanced.

“While tempting, don’t jump on every trend. Carefully consider your commercial goals and only adopt those that drive you towards them.

What are your top three tips for businesses to help them stay ahead in marketing?

  • Invest

“To effectively deliver your strategy, invest at least 10% of your revenue in marketing, and assign sufficient time and resource into recruiting (and retaining) specialists – whether internal teams or external support.

  • Track

“Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), where possible, and schedule regular intervals to measure the results provided from your chosen tactics. Together these allow you to understand what drives success to enrich your future endeavours.

“There’s also great value in listening to and utilising client feedback – be sure to truly hear what they’re saying and take any suggestions on board to meet (and exceed) expectations.

  • Be Consistent

“Tailor a strategy that is authentically aligned with your brand and promote it across all relevant touchpoints to demonstrate cohesion and consistency.

What challenges has Reech faced (and overcome) over the past 15 years, and what has this taught the agency?

“Loads! The world has changed a lot since 2009 – there’s been financial crises, the Covid-19 pandemic, and significant technological advances (to name just a few).

“In response to this, the agency has learnt to stay open-minded and agile. Synonymous with this changing world, we’ve adapted to evolving client needs – everything from introducing new services and expanding our expert team, through to advancing our reporting systems and working with professional partners (such as Google and Sky) to allow us to always make the very best recommendations.

“As avid learners, we regularly attend agency and sector-specific events nationwide, participate in training opportunities, and continue to stay up-to-date with the latest industry news and market trends via podcasts and webinars.

“The past 15 years has taught us that those agencies – and businesses in general – that stand still are at risk of stagnating and becoming outdated. Very quickly. That’s why we’re continually pushing boundaries, for both our clients and our team. Hungry for more, we fuse creativity with performance to create a 360 method to holistically cater to companies across the globe.”

Established in 2009 with a clear vision to help build successful brands, Reech has since evolved into one of the UK’s most reputable full-service marketing agencies, renowned for delivering results-driven campaigns with creativity at its core.
