Youth employment is now at a record low.

Sarah Hooper (Thrive HR UK) is embarking on a voluntary role as an Enterprise Adviser and is looking forward to being connected to a school and contributing to our local community.

This role works to improve school leavers access to information, advice and networks on employment, further education and training to connect school leavers to their future career aspirations.

The government has a mission to connect all secondary schools in England with an Enterprise Adviser. A young person who has four or more meaningful encounters with an employer is 86% less likely to become NEET (not in education, employment or training).

Over three-quarters (77%) of schools and colleges say that their careers provision has improved since connecting with an Enterprise Adviser.
