Telford-based personalised workwear provider MyWorkwear is celebrating its 50th birthday by giving back to the community with the launch of The MyWorkwear 50th Birthday Community Fund.
As part of the initiative, MyWorkwear is offering five UK charities or not-for-profit organisations the opportunity to receive £500 worth of customised workwear, helping teams look professional, feel comfortable and confident, and stand out while delivering vital community work.
The fund is designed to support organisations of all sizes, whether they require branded t-shirts for volunteers, embroidered uniforms for staff, or durable workwear for everyday use. The aim is to empower charities to enhance their visibility and impact within their communities.
Applicants are invited to share details about their organisation, the work they do, and how the workwear would support their efforts. Entries will be reviewed by MyWorkwear’s Senior Leadership Team, with winners selected based on factors including community impact, level of need, and the potential benefit of the workwear provided.
Talking of the fund, MyWorkwear Co-Owner James Worthington said, “Reaching 50 years in business is a huge milestone for us, and we wanted to celebrate it in a meaningful way. This fund is about giving back to the community and helping incredible organisations continue the work they do every day. The Community Fund forms part of a wider programme of birthday activities, taking place over 12 months, focused on recognising and supporting the communities we serve."

The initiative is open to UK-registered charities and not-for-profit organisations, with one entry permitted per organisation. Entries are open until 31st August.
