Airtightness Workshop - Installer Training 26th November 2025

Calling all builders, architects, designers, engineers, and anyone involved, or wanting to get more involved, in retrofit.

The Future Ready Homes team at energy charity Marches Energy Agency is running a FREE training workshop with experts from manufacturer Partel.

More and more householders are asking for airtightness improvements – to save money on energy bills, to improve comfort and to save carbon. But how do you do it right?

At this hands-on training session with the experts you will learn:

• The importance of airtightness in energy efficiency, comfort, and durability. 
• Strategies for improving airtightness in existing buildings, and getting it right from the start in new builds. 
• How moisture interacts with building materials, and the risks of inadequate vapour control. 
• Minimizing energy loss and condensation risks at thermal bridges and junctions. 
• How to select the right materials for each application.

Partel will also share real-world examples of successful airtightness projects, highlighting challenges and solutions.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
