These results are directly fed into the British Chambers of Commerce, ensuring that our area has a voice among many. Being part of the national data ensures that the BCC has the strongest evidence to lobby on behalf of the business community at the highest levels. The information is used by policymakers, the Bank of England, and many others.
In addition to the national picture, the results are shared widely with a vast array of public sector organizations, from councils to colleges, to help them understand the latest local business sentiment.
All this proves that your views are vital. The survey is confidential, allowing the business community to speak openly and honestly.
The survey takes place four times a year and is open to both members and non-members. It is advertised by email to those on the mailing lists and through social media during the fieldwork periods. Each survey is open for three weeks and can be accessed via a simple link. You can skip the parts that are not relevant to your business and share the link with other businesses. The greater the number of participants, the greater the value and impact.
Survey dates are as follows (3-week period):

- November
